Oscar Tiye

Oscar Tiye is a premium footwear brand, created by Amina Muaddi. Having studied fashion communication at the European Institute of Design in Milan, Amina enjoyed a successful career as a stylist, working for magazines including L’Uomo Vogue and US GQ before transitioning into the footwear industry. Having learnt her new trade from scratch, Amina set up the label in the shoe making district of Riviera del Brenta, utilizing the local craftsman’s expertise and knowledge. Drawing on her Jordanian and Romanian heritage, each sleek shoe features winged details to symbolize the Egyptian beetle taking flight.
