Elie Tahari immersed himself into the fashion industry once he arrived to New York City in the early 70s. While working in a boutique in Greenwich Village he became inspired to create his own collections. So by 1974 he had his own boutique located on the prominent Madison Avenue selling dance dresses. Sine then he's expanded to men and women's lifestyle collections while improving the definition of feminine mystique. One of the staples of the Tahari label is women's suit.
